HR.my R4 update was created by Kap-Chew

HR.my R4 has just been updated, here are some of the important highlights:

New:

Completely new look and feel for employee related query interface - now employee photos will be displayed on the grid
For users with new generation of web browser, they will be able to preview employee photo before upload
Add sorting features to grids on all query interface, now you may click at column header to sort accordingly

Change:

Employee tabs are reorganized, with required tabs arranged to the first 3 tabs

Fix:

Querying "Active" employee was returning "Resigned" employees, and this has been fixed in this release
Query "All" employee now works properly
"Social ID" availability check is working properly now
Employee payslip is now showing NRIC, Passport and Zakat contribution properly
And many many more other fixes that I don't even know how to describe

What's next:

And as usual, just drop me a note for whatever improvement that you would like to see in the next release. I will try to make it into the to-do list, but sometimes due to time constraint, some feature will require more time to implement.

Thanks a lot for this very awesome software, by the way can you add generation of reports like printing specific employee profile reports, employee salary reports, etc. i think thats the only thing missing.. But really very awesome job

Of course!

I will be adding the reports one by one, but I need users to help me prioritize which the important ones to come out first.

I am new to your payroll software. Will appreciate if you can let me know the followings:
1) Do you have a step by step guide on how to use your software.
2) What report can your software print? What about monthly payslip? EA form?
3) What is your response time when we encounter problem?
4) How long is data stored in the system? Do we need to do back up?

Hi Lian Hwa,

To answer your questions:

1. Not yet, will want to provide one when most of the features are done
2. Payslip yes, but EA form not yet, will add later
3. Er.... should be reasonable
4. No time limit, the data is backed up regularly, so you don't have to worry about data safety.

Dear KC

Thank you for your info. Kindly note followings:
1) I am just exploring your software, yet to key in any data to see how suitable.
2) Where do I go to do the printing of the payslip?
3) Will it be a problem if I key in dummy data to test before going on live. My concern is how to get rid of the dummy data after that.
4) Also if I have two companies what will be the set up procedure?
5) Do you have a month end and year end procedure? Will this affect amendments to previous month or year data?
6) Are we able to use the software for electronic payment of the salary?
