Hi Kap-Chew,

My colleague tried to apply for leave next year. Although everything looks like it is in order when we access his account , when he tried to apply, there are zero days balance. I am unable to attach the file as the pdf file was 307kb and could not be attached.

Why is that?

The past 3 years I have manually gone in to add the leave types and the # of days and this is the first year I am using the upload. I don't want to do it again as I don't want any more complications .

Hope you can explain this?

Hi Careena,

The reason that it’s showing zero balance because the leaves are not yet earned. Since this is the entitlement for 2019, the earliest earning start would be 1 Jan 2019. The only way to make it positive balance is by adding some Carry Over to the entitlements.
